This training is an initiative carried out in collaboration with the Puerto Rico Vector Management Association (PRVMA). We offer training to the workforce involved in mosquito control across all municipalities. The tour is designed for directors and employees of the Municipal Office for Emergency Management (OMME, by its acronym in Spanish), the Bureau for Emergency Management and Disaster Administration (NMEAD, by its acronym in Spanish), Environmental Health, Environmental Control, and all employees working in mosquito control.

Here, you will learn about the mosquito that transmits the dengue virus in Puerto Rico, how to handle spraying products and equipment, and how to use personal protective equipment. Participants also have the opportunity to calibrate their equipment for free.
